Collaborate

Have something people should know about?

A good collaboration helps someone understand an experience: what it offers, why it might interest them, and what they need to know before taking the next step. If your business, destination, or project fits the interests of Leia Local Guide, I'd like to hear about it.

Ideas worth discussing. A collaboration might involve a business introduction, a closer look at an experience, a destination feature, or content that helps people picture a visit. The format should follow the story and the audience, with scope, timing, deliverables, and terms agreed before work begins.

If you have a launch, a class, a place to explore, or something that deserves more explanation than a quick announcement, tell me what you're hoping to share. I can consider whether it belongs here and what would make it useful to readers.

What to include. Send your business or organization name, location, website, the idea you have in mind, your timing, and any available budget. If you're proposing a hosted visit or gifted experience, explain what is included and whether you expect particular content in return. An inquiry starts a conversation; it doesn't reserve a feature.

Keeping the relationship clear. Paid partnerships, hosted experiences, gifts, affiliate relationships, and relevant client connections need clear disclosure. I want readers to understand the context of a feature and collaborators to understand the scope of the work. We can discuss both before deciding how to proceed.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

A few things people often ask before reaching out.

Who can collaborate with Leia Local Guide?

Local businesses, organizations, makers, event hosts, and people creating interesting experiences in their communities are welcome to reach out. Whether you have a storefront, offer a service, teach a class, or organize something worth exploring, I'd love to hear what you have in mind.

What kinds of collaborations are possible?

Ideas might include a business spotlight, an article, social media content, an event visit, or a sponsored partnership. Tell me what you're hoping to share and why it would interest local readers, and we can explore an approach that fits.

Do I have to be a marketing client to be featured?

No. Leia Local Guide features places and experiences beyond my client work. I may also highlight current or past clients, with that relationship disclosed so readers have the context behind the feature.

Can I suggest my business or event?

Absolutely. Include your business or organization's name, location, website, and a little about what makes it worth discovering. For events, please share the date, time, and relevant details. Suggestions help me learn what's happening, although submitting one doesn't guarantee coverage.

Do you offer paid features or sponsored content?

I'm open to discussing paid partnerships that fit the site and its readers. The scope, deliverables, timing, and pricing would be agreed upon before work begins. Sponsored content will be clearly identified, and any personal recommendations will reflect my actual experience.

Can I invite you to visit or try something?

Yes. Feel free to invite me to your business, class, event, or experience. Please explain what the invitation includes and whether you're proposing specific content in return. An invitation or complimentary experience alone doesn't guarantee a post or a positive review.

Do you only cover Hudson?

Hudson is a big part of my local world, but the site also explores Marlborough, Maynard, the wider MetroWest area, and Massachusetts destinations worth the drive. If you think your place would appeal to these readers, you're welcome to suggest it.

Can you help with my business's marketing, too?

Yes. My marketing and consulting work is separate from Leia Local Guide collaborations. If you need help with social media, email, a website, events, or strategy, let me know when you reach out so I can direct your inquiry appropriately.

How do I get started?

Use the contact form to introduce yourself and share your idea. Include any important dates, the kind of collaboration you're considering, and your budget if applicable. You don't need a polished proposal. A clear starting point is plenty.

Have something worth sharing?

Tell me about your business, your idea, or the experience you'd love more people to discover.
